HQE (High Environmental Quality)

HQE certification is a way for building owners to have the environmental quality of their approach and their construction recognised by an independent third party.

It is therefore a voluntary process offered to building owners who wish to enhance the value of their actions and offer their interlocutors an assurance as to the performance obtained in terms of the HQE approach: healthy and comfortable buildings whose environmental impacts, assessed over the entire life cycle (including deconstruction), are as controlled as possible.

HQE certification attests to compliance with a certification standard and the implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS).
On this basis, the project owner defines performance levels and undertakes to provide the means for the project actors to achieve them.

The HQE certification exists for new and existing buildings, in the fields of tertiary buildings, industrial buildings, storage buildings, individual houses and collective housing.
