LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the certification system set up by the USGBC (US Green Building Council) for the construction of buildings that are part of an environmental process.
It is a pragmatic approach based on an integrated approach (design, construction, operation) and covers all environmental aspects:

- relationship with the external environment ;
- water ;
- energy ;
- materials ;
- quality of interior spaces and also innovative strategy.

This system is now the most widely used internationally by building owners seeking environmental certification for their buildings.
It is constantly evolving to allow for the best possible adaptation to existing technologies and new standards that are increasingly demanding with regard to the environment.
