Connected terminal facility

Railway installation located on an industrial plant (factory) or logistic plant (warehouse, platform, port area...) and connected to the main network allowing the transport of goods without load break. These facilities, also known as "special sidings", also allow the use of wagons adapted to different types of goods. Shipments can be made in complete trains or in individual wagons, which are then transported to marshalling yards to form complete trains.
