EOL supports Mediaco Vrac in setting up its subsidiary in Le Havre

Looking for a new warehouse for its Le Havre-based subsidiary Mediaco Logistique, the Marseille-based specialist in bulk and container logistics services (particularly cosmetics, wines and spirits), Mediaco Vrac, turned to EOL for its new location in Le Havre (76). The commercial real estate company took charge of the entire project - from the selection of the site based on geographical criteria to the final construction of the platform in the port area of Le Havre - advising the lessee Mediaco and the owner Panhard at every stage. " The geographical location in the port area is essential to guarantee a very short quay time. We wanted a so-called "latest generation" building with a specific elevated height (more than 12 metres high) and which had the following featuresWe wanted a 'state-of-the-art' building with a specific elevated height (over 12 metres high) and a 6,000 sqm cell equipped with temperature control to store heat-sensitive products. With such technical requirements, EOL was able to advise us and guide us in the choice of this warehouse, which was ultimately designed especially for us. From now on, we are the only player present in both ports," say Denis and Marc Liotta, directors of Mediaco Vrac.

The latest generation building, which will be delivered on 10 December 2019, is occupied by the Mediaco Logistique subsidiary, which employs around fifty people, on a surface area of 24,000 sqm within a 50,000 sqm complex. A logistics platform that consolidates Mediaco Vrac's presence in the region, already present in Le Havre in transit, customs and port logistics, and wishing to become the key provider of port logistics services in the two ports of Le Havre and Marseille.
